AF-PAN-Fiber is a new kind of synthetic reinforcement fiber. It is made of PAN resins by special technique, can strengthen the anti-crack performance of asphalt and cement concrete.

The specific surface of PAN-Fiber is very large, when both the fibers and surrounding asphalt are attached to the surface of the aggregate, the asphalt membrane will enlarge, further prolonging the lifetime of roads.
The asphalt attached by the crossbinding fibers will increase the proportion of structural asphalt, decrease free asphalt, increase the viscosity of the mastic, and increase softening point, thereby improving the stability of SMA mixture.
The fibers are randomly distributed in the mastic in 3D. They can prevent the cracking of mixture, and increase the self-healing capability of the asphalt roads, then decrease the crack.
