Thanks to its 3D distribution, super adsorbability as well as no twist with the asphalt, PET-Fibers can strengthen the cohesion and stickiness of the asphalt concrete. Furthermore, they can decrease the liquidity of the asphalt and increase the stability of the asphalt concrete at high temperatures.
AF-PET-Fiber cross binding monofilaments can improve the elasticity of the asphalt concrete, which can resist deformation effectively and maintain high flexibility and anti-stretch strength, consequently improving the crack resistance of asphalt concrete and its performance at low temperatures.
AF-PET-Fiber in concrete increases the developing modulus of elasticity by 1.3-1.4 times, further improving fatigue resistance of concrete. AF-PET-Fiber can prevent the emergence of the reflective crack effectively, thereby enhancing the quality of the roads and prolonging their lifetime.
